Baking with Fruitfunk - Responsible banana bread
Banana bread is popular! A delicious, lightly sweetened 'cake' that is easy to make, filling and also healthy. Did you know that you can also bake very well with our flakes? That makes banana bread even tastier! We went into the kitchen and baked a delicious Fruitfunk banana bread.
What do you need?
3 ripe bananas
3 eggs
100 grams of spelt flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon cinnamon
4 bags Fruitfunk Strawberry Snowflakes
Optional: gingerbread & gingerbread spices honey
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Put all the ingredients, except the Fruitfunk Strawberry Snowflakes, in the blender. Blend until smooth. Cut the contents of two bags of Fruitfunk Strawberry Snowflakes into small pieces, add this to the batter and stir it through. Line a cake tin with baking paper, pour the mixture in. Place the remaining Fruitfunk Strawberry Snowflakes on the batter to make a festive cake. Put it in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Let it cool and cut the cake.
Tip: The slices of cake can be frozen. This way, despite all the rush in the morning, you can still give your child a responsible treat to take to school.
