How it all started....

We, Rob and Daan, noticed that there was - and still is - an increasing need for a responsible alternative to candy and snacks for kids. That's why we came up with Fruitfunk in 2014. With Fruitfunk, it's possible for kids to enjoy sweets and snacks in a responsible way! Our products are just as sweet and fun as traditional candy, but much more responsible.

Our mission is to offer products which contributes to a healthier new generation. That's why we say: Fruitfunk = Full fruit, pure funk!

Proud participant of the Healthy Eating at Schools Agreement!

We believe it is important that all young people in the Netherlands can grow up healthily. That’s why we signed the Healthy Nutrition Agreement in Schools (2021-2025) The Agreement includes producers, wholesalers, caterers, suppliers of vending machines and water dispensers. Together, we strive to encourage students to make healthier choices based on the Nutrition Center's guidelines by making these choices easier and more attractive.

Samenwerking met lewise

Een op de tien kinderen in Nederland heeft een voedselallergie! Bij een ongeluk of noodgeval zijn de eerste minuten doorslaggevend. Het Lewise Original-bandje is een slim NFC-polsbandje dat met één simpele scan van iedere smartphone vanaf 2006 aan omstanders, hulpverleners en zorgpersoneel alle informatie geeft die ze nodig hebben (er is geen aparte app of installatie nodig).

De volgende informatie is in te zien:
• Welke allergieën heeft het kind?
• Wat mag het kind wel en niet eten?
• Wat moet er gedaan worden in een noodgeval?
• Direct contactopname met ouders, verzorgers of 112
• Ouders en/of verzorgers ontvangen een scannotificatie met puntlocatie

Dankzij de geïntegreerde SOS-functie helpt Lewise ook bij praktische situaties zoals een verdwaald kind tijdens een dagje uit of op vakantie, ook in het buitenland. De informatie verschijnt automatisch in de taal van de scanner. Dus geen taalbarrière of geen vertraging.
